We’re recruiting a full time Civil Engineer to join our dedicated Engineering department at our Barnwood Head Office.
This is a great opportunity to join a private company based in Gloucester with an enviable reputation for designing and building high quality new homes in desirable locations throughout the west country and Cotswolds. We are committed to sustainability, having completed over 350 zero carbon homes since 2022. By joining our team, you can be instrumental in continuing our goal of becoming one of the most sustainable house developers in the UK.
The Role

The team is responsible for providing innovative, cost-effective designs to some quite challenging sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate or an Engineer with ambitions to extend their experience into more complex and innovative developments.
As an Engineer you will be producing detailed drawings for the support of planning applications, submission to adopting water company and highway authorities, tender and construction. You will be responsible for designs that will include sustainable drainage, works to new and existing roads, house foundations, retaining walls, geo-environmental and remediation works.
You will need to liaise with other departments responding to queries arising during the construction and completion stages. You will be working in a proactive manner, dealing with issues as they arise and driving solutions for the benefit of all, in a professional, supportive way.
