The site
Utilising a brownfield site sustainably located within the urban area of Stroud conveniently less than a mile from Stroud town centre and within easy reach of public transport links including Stroud Railway Station.
Currently consisting of offices and industrial units a number of which have been unoccupied for a long period the development and regeneration of this brownfield site will create new homes which are design led, sustainable and create new communities.
As part of this development, we will be providing financial support towards Rodborough Common Special Area of Conservation, local libraries as well as providing on site open space.

Looking to a sustainable future
Looking to the future, there is a passionate commitment to creating an increasingly sustainable legacy with each and every home. There are many features throughout not only our homes, but also the wider development to help mitigate climate change. Investment is made into technologies over and above current building regulation requirements. This ensures homes can maximise the benefit of solar PV production offsetting grid electricity usage. We typically prioritise using air source heat pumps combined with other technologies to avoid fossil fuel usage that can make homes net zero carbon. Seemingly small touches such as a composter or water butt, or integrated eco bins in every kitchen to encourage recycling mean that it’s the little details that make the biggest difference. Newland Homes prides itself on not only meeting but exceeding current building regulations and planning requirements with the future constantly at the forefront of our plans.

Great design at the heart of every home
Inside each home is an abundance of considered touches of award-winning design. Kitchens are carefully thought out not only in terms of practicality, but comfort too, with the kitchen being the heart of the home. Integrated appliances form part of the standard specification, along with the amount of natural light and task lighting all considered. Principal bedrooms boast built in wardrobes and storage is always considered. Bathrooms ooze relaxation with their high-quality fittings including popular ‘rain’ shower heads, whether you enjoy a long soak, or a quick splash.
