A BEDROOM SHOWHOME FIT FOR THE VICS

A bedroom showhome fit for the Vics

This season’s top goal scorer for Malmesbury Victoria FC, Kyle Witt, officially kicked off the Newland Homes development in Malmesbury this weekend.  Kyle took a victory lap of its brand new showhome at White Poplars.

Malmesbury Vics team colours

One of the bedrooms in the new showhome at White Poplars has been kitted out in the Malmesbury Vics team colours to create a dream space for an avid young football fan.

Newland Homes’ Sales & Marketing Director, Marcus Evans, invited local lad Kyle along with Club Secretary, Brendon Rice, to White Poplars.  Marcus grew up in Malmesbury.  As a result, when he commissioned the interior design of the showhome he wanted one of the bedrooms to honour the local football team.

Zero carbon homes in Malmesbury

Newland Homes is building 29 zero carbon homes just off of Storey Mews in Malmesbury. All of the homes are powered by renewable technology.  This reduces the reliance on fossil fuels to provide a cleaner and greener alternative to homeowners.

The homes at White Poplars have solar panels, air source heat pumps and high levels of insulation.  As a result homes are power houses in their own right, creating as much prime energy* as they need to run.

Marcus Evans comments: “Kids bedrooms should be fun, and this is a playful and joyous room.  Black and white stripes feature heavily and one of the walls is a luscious grass green to represent a football pitch.  I’m personally delighted that Kyle and Brendon were able to join us this weekend.  They were able to see our tribute to the Vics and take a tour of White Poplars, which is also looking terrific.”

“Football provides a dream and focus for so many in the world and we are privileged to do our part in this. The Malmesbury Vics are super excited to welcome all the new families, and hopefully supporters, who will certainly be thrilled with these new homes. Who knows, there could be the next top striker, goalkeeper, groundsman or club secretary soon calling White Poplars home!” says Brendon Rice.

The Dodington Showhome

Kyle and Brendon visited the Dodington showhome at White Poplars.  This is an imposing, double fronted, detached home with a spacious kitchen breakfast room.  It also boasts a fabulous sun lounge perfect for entertaining.  The football themed room is one of the property’s five bedrooms, two of which have ensuites.

White Poplars has proven extremely popular with purchasers and many new residents have already moved into their brand new, zero carbon homes.  Just eight five-bedroomed homes remain for sale.

Hassle-free options to help

Newland Homes has a range of hassle-free options to help people secure a brand new, zero carbon home at White Poplars, whatever their situation.  The company’s MoveMaker assisted sale and Part Exchange schemes help people with the process of selling their home.  Furthermore, in some instances, the company may even consider buying homes in part exchange.  The buying process is quick and easy with new build homes.

‘A’ rating for energy efficiency and environmental impact

The new homes all achieve an ‘A’ rating for both energy efficiency and environmental impact.  This makes them the absolute pinnacle of sustainable development and far surpasses the UK’s current building regulations.

‘Oscars’ of the housebuilding industry

Newland Homes is an independent housebuilder based in Gloucestershire.  It is a Carbon Neutral Business for the second year running and recently won a WhatHouse? Award.  The award was for Best Sustainable Development for another of its zero carbon schemes.  These awards are known as the ‘Oscars’ of the housebuilding industry.  Newland Homes was praised for its robust approach to climate change and its carbon neutral agenda.
