Gloucestershire Limited 2023 - Newland Homes @ no26 #GlosLtd New homes in Gloucestershire

Newland Homes has been identified as one of the top 100 most successful private companies in the Gloucestershire Limited Awards.


The Limited Awards, by Grant Thornton, celebrate the UK’s leading private limited companies.  These are the first ever awards for the Gloucestershire region.  In the Gloucestershire Limited Awards, Newland Homes has secured 26th position based on company turnover.  Green Britain Group, led by Dale Vince OBE and based in Cirencester, is in the top spot.


A county with a strong entrepreneurial nature

Grant Thornton, an international accounting firm, provides an insight into the scale of Gloucestershire’s privately owned business community.  Impressively, the top 100 privately-owned businesses in the county had a total turnover of £5.4bn*.


In an industry snapshot also prepared by Grant Thornton, the real estate and construction sectors employed 2,154 people in Gloucestershire with a total revenue of £619m.  Newland Homes also ranks highly amongst the most profitable businesses in the county.

An award-winning business

Newland Homes has scooped many industry and business accolades since its inception in 1991.  Significantly, it currently has nine developments underway in the South West, providing circa 400 low and zero carbon new homes in the near future.


Grant Thornton’s Gloucestershire Limited Report is part of a regional series of business analysis by county.  It aims to shine a light on the most successful private companies across the region.  Moreover, it recognises their achievements and contribution to the economy.
